Who we are
Our names are Lindsey Kemp and Christine Post and we are the directors of Big Gifts for Little Lives – an organization dedicated to raising funds for Pediatric Heart Transplant research through the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. We are extremely passionate about this cause as not only is it an area that is especially underfunded, we are the moms of two boys who have had heart transplants – George (Kemp) and Austin (Post). You can read about their stories under the "Transplant Warrior's" tab!
While we are incredibly grateful for the gift of heart transplantation, we long to see the day that a transplant is a cure. Currently, due to many different types of possible complications, the average heart usually lasts between 15 and 20 years. We believe that through research, George, Austin, and our pediatric heart transplant friends around the globe, will get to live long, healthy lives.
